A stretch of US 52 between Indianapolis and Chicago..

This section of highway used to be the main artery between these two cities - then I-65 was built. This (now) back highway is the haunt of local trucking, old farmhouses, the occasional tractor, forgotten diners, cheap motels.

Route 66 without any of the glamour.

Here lies the unlikely home of a used bicycle shop, the wares sitting shining in the summer sunshine.
