Doomed oak, Pena Adobe Valley

Pena Adobe Valley outside of Vacaville has been for sale for several years now.

It is the last valley between Sacramento and San Francisco with undeveloped areas larger than 1 square mile.

I often stop here on my way home from San Francisco. Gladys likes to run around like a mad dog, and I like to dream of hitting it big so that I can buy up the whole damned valley before Wal-Mart does.
