So there we were..

Slightly lost near Old Town in Chicago.

Steve and Robert and I were crammed into Steve's blue Civic Wagon, and it was hot - sweltering in Chicago. We had come to the city from the sticks because I had just met an amazingly beautiful creature and Steve gave in to my pestering.

In circles we went, looking for something to match up on our map when suddenly Steve stopped the car and lept out. I followed Steve into the raining fire hydrant on the corner.

This picture captures the essence of that day - that summer - that short time I had with my Chicago beauty.
